(MACON, Ga.) – The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Thursday that they are signing goaltender Sebastian Resar for the 2026-27 season.
Resar, 23, from Whitby, Ontario, began his professional career last year with the FPHL’s Danbury Hat Tricks before two stints with the Mayhem. In seven games with the Mayhem last season, Resar recorded a .920 save percentage, and 2.59 goals-against average.
“I’m excited to see what Sebastian can do this year,” said Head Coach Dave Pszenyczny. “He’s had an impactful offseason and we’re looking forward to seeing him at camp.”
Resar saw limited action with the Mayhem last season as Josh Boyko and Bailey Brkin got most of the starts in the crease for the team, but will be looking for another bite at the apple with the team in camp this season. In 17 games with the Danbury Hat Tricks where he made his professional debut, Resar carried a .918 save percentage, which would’ve finished 5th among qualified goaltenders in the FPHL.

The organization has built something special in Macon, and the support from the coaching staff, the city, and the fans made coming back an easy decision. I’m ready to get back to work, compete every day, and do everything I can to win. I can’t wait to be back on the ice in front of the Macon fans.”
