(MACON, Ga.) – The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Wednesday that they are signing forward Jayden Price for the 2026-27 season.
Price, 25, from Bradenton, Fla., aims to make his professional debut this season after spending the last four years at NCAA D-III University of New England. In 94 games with the Nor’easters, Price put up 62 points (34 g, 28 a) and recorded four straight seasons of at least 12 points.
“We’re looking forward to injecting his size into our lineup on the wing,” said Head Coach Dave Pszenyczny. “His scoring capabilities speak for themselves.”
The 6-foot-1 forward brings a competitive hockey background to the Mayhem, coming from the prestigious Shattuck St. Mary’s hockey academy before his junior hockey career. During his time at Shattuck, Price was teammates with future NHL players such as Scott Morrow, Mackie Samoskevich, and Olympic gold-medalist Jackson LaCombe.
“I’m super excited to begin my professional career in Macon,” said Price. “I’ve heard nothing but great things about the organization and the fans, and I’m looking forward to getting the season underway.”
