(MACON, Ga.) – The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Thursday that they are signing defenseman Jack Cullen for the 2026-27 season.
Cullen, 23, from Trumbull, Conn., comes to the Mayhem after two years of collegiate hockey with NCAA division-III Manhattanville College. He played 40 games with the Valiants, recording two assists and 95 penalty minutes.
“We like Jack’s physicality and size,” said Head Coach Dave Pszenyczny. “He makes the simple, easy play and is steady on the back end.”
The 6-foot-3 defenseman also spent two years in the USPHL with the Charlotte Rush, where he scored 30 points (8 g, 22 a) in 63 games for the program and played alongside Chucky Norris, the son of Mayhem owner Chuck Norris.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join the Macon Mayhem organization and can’t wait to get to work,” said Cullen. “I’ve heard great things about the fans and the culture in Macon, and I’m excited to be a part of it. You can expect me to compete every night, do whatever it takes to help this team win, and represent the logo the right way. I can’t wait to get to Macon and get started.”
