Mayhem Sign Grayden Gottschalk

(MACON, Ga.) – The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Tuesday at their annual town hall event that they are signing forward Grayden Gottschalk for the 2026-27 season.

Gottschalk, 28, from Thornhill, Ontario, aims to begin his North American professional career this season after three years in Europe, with the last two spent in Germany. In three seasons, Gottschalk has scored 121 points (69 g, 52 a) in just 82 games.

“Grayden is a big body winger that we’re excited to add to the lineup,” said Head Coach Dave Pszenyczny. “We anticipate his scoring to carry over to the North American game and that’s something we’re excited to see.”

Before beginning his professional career overseas, Gottschalk spent four years at USports Wilfrid Laurier University, where he recorded 27 points (18 g, 9 a) in 59 games. He also spent four years in the Ontario Junior circuit; one year with the OHL’s Oshawa Generals and three years with the OJHL’s North York Rangers, the last of which he was the captain of the team.

“I’m really excited about the opportunity to play in Macon,” said Gottschalk. “I’m looking forward to meeting and working with everyone. I’ve heard great things about the organization and I can’t wait to get to work.”
