(MACON, Ga.) – The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Tuesday that they are signing goaltender Manny Egbali for the 2026-27 season.
Egbali, 25, from Scarborough, Ontario, comes to the Mayhem after a four year collegiate career that began at ACHA Canisius College, and led him to three years of NCAA division-III hockey with SUNY-Potsdam, and more recently, Salve Regina University.
“Manny is built pretty long which provides upside for goalies,” said Head Coach Dave Pszenyczny. “He is very hungry for an opportunity to show what he can do at the pro level.”
At 6-foot-3, Egbali provides the prototypical framework of a successful goaltender. This past season with Salve Regina, he got his first action at the NCAA level, starting six games and winning five of them. He had a 2.00 goals-against average, and .906 save percentage.
“I’m very excited for the opportunity to play and compete for a great fan base and represent the city of Macon,” said Egbali. “I’m ready to get started and win games for the Mayhem this season.”
Season tickets for the 2026-27 season are on sale now! Call the Mayhem office at 478-803-1592 for more information or to purchase tickets.
