(MACON, Ga.) – The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Thursday that they are signing forward Tim Kim for the 2026-27 season.
Kim, 22, from Vancouver, British Columbia, aims to return to the SPHL after a strong start to his professional career last year. He began with the FPHL’s Binghamton Black Bears where he recorded nine points (3 g, 6 a) in 10 games before being called up by the Fayetteville Marksmen. In 14 games at the SPHL level, Kim recorded five points (2 g, 3 a) before finishing the year in Germany. In eight games for EG Diez-Limburg between the regular season and playoffs, Kim recorded 11 points (4 g, 7 a).
“We’re excited to see what Tim can do,” said Head Coach Dave Pszenyczny. “He’s got a super high compete level and high hockey IQ. He’ll be a good addition to our group.”
“I’m super honored to be a part of the Mayhem family,” said Kim. “I’m very excited to meet the community and my new teammates. I’m confident that with the team and community together, Macon is going to be the best place in the league to play and win a lot of games. I can’t wait to meet everyone, and I’m super thankful for the opportunity.”
The Mayhem start training camp next week as they prepare for their pre-season exhibition in Athens on October 10! Call the Mayhem office at 478-803-1592 for more information or to purchase tickets for Mayhem home games.
