Mayhem Add Rookie Defenseman Winslow

(MACON, Ga.) – The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Thursday that they are signing defenseman Tobin Winslow for the 2026-27 season.

Winslow, 25, from Jacksonville, Fla., aims to make his professional debut this season after a four-year collegiate career with NCAA division-III SUNY-Brockport. In four years with the Golden Eagles, Winslow played in 38 games.

“Tobin’s a hard-nosed guy that we’re excited to add to our back end,” said Head Coach Dave Pszenyczny. “His defensive reliability will be a plus for our group.”

Winslow is an EHL champion with the 2021-22 New Jersey 87’s, and played his youth hockey with the Islanders Hockey Club 18U AAA before making the jump to juniors.

“I’m super excited to be able to continue to put on the boots and play for Coach Dave,” said Winslow. “Playing hockey in the south is something that I’ve dreamed of since I was a youth hockey guy driving two hours to Orlando twice a week from Jacksonville.”

“I’m also really excited to be in that locker room with all the guys, there’s a few names I remember from college hockey in the UCHC and SUNYAC and I’m thrilled to play with them instead of against them. I can’t wait to perform in front of the Macon fan base!”

The Mayhem start training camp next week as they prepare for their pre-season exhibition in Athens on October 10!  Call the Mayhem office at 478-803-1592 for more information or to purchase tickets for Mayhem home games.
