Macon, Ga – The Macon Mayhem adds forward Dan Winslow to the 2023-2024 Training Camp Roster.
The Fairfield, Connecticut native joins the Mayhem after finishing his 2022-23 season with the Iowa Heartlanders.
Winslow began his college career with Quinnipiac University before transferring to the University of New England. While earning a graduate degree, Winslow tallied 28 points (14g, 14a) within 28 games his first season. In his final year as a Nor’easter, Winslow recorded 30 points (17g, 13a) in 30 games while proudly wearing the ‘C’ before signing with Iowa.
“When looking at Dan’s playing career, he has played well for several championship winning teams which tells me he has the winning attitude we are looking for. He also comes to Macon with remarkable leadership skills through his positions he held while playing on New England’s Roster,” commented Head Coach Nick Niedert. “We are excited to add him to the Mayhem Roster.”
Off the ice, Winslow excelled in his academics while at Quinnipiac. He was named a two-time ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team (2018-19 and 2019-20). Also in 2018-19, he was named an AHCA All-American Scholar.
Dan Winslow is the sixth player signing announced for the 2023-24 season. Keep an eye on our social media channels for more player announcements as we announce the whole roster within the next few weeks.
